Matt has been tattooing about 3 years now. He enjoys being able to tattoo in all different styles as he feels being versatile is a very important quality in an artist. Neil enjoys doing bold traditional tattoos. He's delved into many styles of tattooing including, realism, new school, black and grey, lettering, though he will always enjoy traditional most. He has been tattooing since 2009 in San Antonio, TX. Though he served his apprenticeship here in Illinois, his professional career started in Texas. After tattooing some time in San Antonio, he felt the need to start working tattoo conventions around 2012. About once a month he would fly to a new state to tattoo, and he feels that contributed greatly to his growth as an artist. Soon after doing the convention circuit in the states he ventured off to England. He visited an industry friend in London, worked in Essex, and was a guest artist at a shop in Frankfurt. He also worked a short time in Aviano, Italy, and has worked overseas in Scotland. Around 2015 he moved back to Illinois and found his home here at Liberty Tattoo. "
It's a great crew we have here and I couldn't ask for a better shop to be at."
